Hello, welcome to the Pathologic Prompt Meme!

Please make anonymous prompts for things you would like to see, or anonymously fulfill prompts by creating stories, poetry, drawn art, music, or anything! I just want to say that this prompt meme is open to people of all skill levels, so have fun!

Some basic rules that were recommended to help out before we get started:

- This is the Pathologic Prompt Meme, and it's SFW! Please post any NSFW prompts or fills into the NSFW Pathologic Kink Meme. A good rule of thumb is whether or not you'd be comfortable with your boss at work looking over your shoulder and reading what you have on screen.

- If you're worried about anything being a little too gore-heavy (e.g. certain medical procedures can be), or etc., please post it in the NSFW Pathologic Kink Meme. This decision is for folks who have limits in regard to certain explicit things. Speaking of explicit things...

- Please use tags and content warnings, especially for things that people might be triggered over. For prompt fillers, please put those tags in the beginning of the post so that way people can skip over them if need be. Tags can also attract people to your art if it has content that they're interested in, so it can be a helpful tool for content creators as well.

- No writers of incest (kains which does include aglaya and her relatives, stamatins, olgimskys, etc), underage/adult ships (which DOES include Clara,) or rape. Please don't make anything gross happen to underage characters!

- Multiple fills to a single prompt is not only accepted, but wonderful! It's a win-win for everybody!

- In the case of a filler of a prompt going inactive for a long time in the middle of a story, it's okay for a different person to continue where they left off. Please make it obvious that you're not the original author, and then feel free to write.

In his own way, Andrey needs comfort/reassurance/protection. In his own way, Peter provides it.

it’s maybe a few weeks after the sand pest ends. artemiy hasn’t cried since the first week he spent in the capital, but something relatively minor sets him off and now all of the trauma and grief and heartbreak is coming to the surface at once. luckily, his good friend lara is there to help him through it.

please no shipping artemiy and lara! i just want them as friends. also, if you bring up isidor, please don’t make his past relationship with artemiy strained (and CERTAINLY don’t make it abusive). artemiy misses his dad :(

Notkin and Khan post-plague talking about what happened and making up for old grudges (basically, angst + fluff :]) Perhaps Notkin talks about getting infected, Khan talks about leaving the Polyhedron and quarantining himself in the Nutshell. Can be shippy or not!

Bad Grief is a kid (10-14 years old) and it's his birthday! What will little Grief do? Will his friends throw a party for him? Will he steal himself some treats? Does he spend time with anyone, or isolate himself? Is it sad times or happy times? That's all up to you!
-Grief having a sweet tooth would be cute, so bonus if you include that

Eva goes out on a picnic! It's up to you who she takes; it could be a group picnic, a date, or just Eva treating herself to some wine and the nice weather.

They care for each other... After the plague, Rubin comes to Artemy's house for his first lesson from his new master. It may be awkward, at first, but it isn't long before all their feelings for each other come rushing back. Thus, pining and sweet sweet fluff.

They say the Bachelor doesn't have a heart. What if it is true. He had it removed, a la Koschei the Immortal, except the downside(s) of this method do not fit what he envisioned, and this is why he is still in search for methods to fight Death?

Some potential ideas :
- Daniil emotions have been removed from the process (but it doesn't make him cruel), and that is a big downside to him
- Heart hidden in a snake egg
- Daniil describing his condition in very medical terms, despite the inherent supernatural vibes of it
- for how long has he lived? Let him discuss some Super Old Stuff with people

I just like to imagine that after Artemy adopts Sticky and Murky, Grief takes it upon himself to act like a weird uncle to the kids. Illegal guns dealer or no, he was always the one who dragged Artemy into dumb shit when they were kids, so it seems only fair that he keeps the tradition alive. Bonus points for if Artemy and Grief end up bickering like an old married couple when Artemy finally catches up to the shenanigans.

let's get some good old-fashioned trope fic going here! i don't care if it's an AU where everyone's got wings or select characters having to hide theirs, just give me wing!fic. (some suggestions: clara with dove wings and grief with vulture wings?)

This is meant to work closely to the Horrible Oyun prompt, for reference. The story builds up step by step and many people are encouraged to fill pieces.

Vlad Olgimsky gives a big New Year's Eve dinner to flaunt how he has more money than everyone else combined. Most characters are there. But oh, shock of shocks, someone has been found dead (or apparently dead)! Can the healers solve the mystery before Saburov arrests everyone, or the Inquisition steps in for no reason? Will Block have to threaten the Town with the big gun until the killer gives himself away?

Phase 1: set the stage. Who is the victim, and who found them?

What it says on the tin. Talon and Beak are an old married couple, or at least act like one. Bonus points for keeping the grandiose speeches in day-to-day situations.

Through some magical incident (maybe Polyhedron, maybe Aspity trying to embarrass him through a curse) Daniil now has a doppelganger, one that reflects his true feelings in his heart. It was expected that the doppelganger unable to hide the secrets in his heart would be a major problem for Daniil, and it is. Just not in the way that Daniil, or anybody thought.

The problem is that the newfound twin has confessed his feelings for Artemy.

Khan and Capella are finally married! For some reason or another the couple breaks from real-world tradition and khan moves into Capella's wing. (maybe something about how a mistress cannot live in the physical domain of another? But khan isn't a mistress so he can move just fine). In response Victor gets a little anxious, of course he loves his son---but it wasn't like he and Nina ever really visited or wrote to their own fathers once they were married. What if Khan is the same? To cope, Victor ever so slightly tightens his bond, and his grip, on his apprentice Grief---desperate not to be left alone in the Crucible

As white mistress to be it was always quite easy for Capella to win the favor of others, whteher through natural or supernatural means---but alas she is not all-powerful, she cannot control how people feel about hose other than herself, and that includes her father and brother, a great source of potential stress in her family life

Ideas
-Capella knows she is the favorite child and feels guilt
-Capella is frustrated that she cannot do anything about this guilt, she cannot make her father love her any less and she cannot make him love her brother anymore
-Capella is concerned this dynamic has strained her own relationship with her brother, who might view her more as an obstacle than as a sister or even a mistress
-please do not be weird about their relationship as siblings.

Oh no! Grief has caught f-f-feelings for somebody. Diurnal ending so it isn't like he can just bury them under crime anymore. But he's too embarrassed to go to his friends for advice, and not fully confident they won't tattle or would even offer very good relationship advice (they've all been pretty unlucky in love thus far). Oh what is a poor grief to do?

After the plague Daniil mentally regresses to a young age, but unfortunately his childhood was full of responsibilities and pressure to be perfect (not unlike his adult life), so the regression doesn’t help him cope.

I’d like to read about Artemy comforting Daniil in both his age-reg state and after, helping him to not feel ashamed about it.

+ super bonus points for Daniil being autistic
+ more bonus points for Artemy learning about Daniil’s love for beetles (maybe they look for beetles together in the steppe!!)
+ I imagine this scenario being a step along the way to romance because of Daniil’s vulnerability and Artemy’s affection, but the amount of future Burakovsky addressed is up to the filler :)
