Hello, welcome to the Pathologic Prompt Meme!

Please make anonymous prompts for things you would like to see, or anonymously fulfill prompts by creating stories, poetry, drawn art, music, or anything! I just want to say that this prompt meme is open to people of all skill levels, so have fun!

Some basic rules that were recommended to help out before we get started:

- This is the Pathologic Prompt Meme, and it's SFW! Please post any NSFW prompts or fills into the NSFW Pathologic Kink Meme. A good rule of thumb is whether or not you'd be comfortable with your boss at work looking over your shoulder and reading what you have on screen.

- If you're worried about anything being a little too gore-heavy (e.g. certain medical procedures can be), or etc., please post it in the NSFW Pathologic Kink Meme. This decision is for folks who have limits in regard to certain explicit things. Speaking of explicit things...

- Please use tags and content warnings, especially for things that people might be triggered over. For prompt fillers, please put those tags in the beginning of the post so that way people can skip over them if need be. Tags can also attract people to your art if it has content that they're interested in, so it can be a helpful tool for content creators as well.

- No writers of incest (kains which does include aglaya and her relatives, stamatins, olgimskys, etc), underage/adult ships (which DOES include Clara,) or rape. Please don't make anything gross happen to underage characters!

- Multiple fills to a single prompt is not only accepted, but wonderful! It's a win-win for everybody!

- In the case of a filler of a prompt going inactive for a long time in the middle of a story, it's okay for a different person to continue where they left off. Please make it obvious that you're not the original author, and then feel free to write.

Murder Mystery Dinner

This is meant to work closely to the Horrible Oyun prompt, for reference. The story builds up step by step and many people are encouraged to fill pieces.

Vlad Olgimsky gives a big New Year's Eve dinner to flaunt how he has more money than everyone else combined. Most characters are there. But oh, shock of shocks, someone has been found dead (or apparently dead)! Can the healers solve the mystery before Saburov arrests everyone, or the Inquisition steps in for no reason? Will Block have to threaten the Town with the big gun until the killer gives himself away?

Phase 1: set the stage. Who is the victim, and who found them?

And so it begins...

(Warning. I may have been watching too many My Brother, My Brother and Me clips on youtube beforehand. This may reflect upon my writing.)

Daniil Dankovsky stood with a sober expression as the crowd of attendees rushed and spoke animatedly. There on the grand dinner table where the communal New Year's Eve dinner was to take place lied Vlad Jr., dead.


"My poor boy!" Vlad Olgimsky, no longer a Senior Vlad, just a plain Vlad, cried out. "His last words he spoke to me were 'oh boy, I can't wait to try some of this delicious food! Yummy yummy yummy!'" He pointed towards Daniil. "You there! You're a doctor aren't you?"

"I was the one at charge of leading the Hospital, yes." Daniil replied.

"Rhetorical question, fool." Vlad said. "Go find out who killed my son. My son may have had rocks for brains, but he had the healthiest body that money could afford. There is no way that he would've died normally. Let Isidor's boy and that strange changeling girl know that they're on the case as well."

"How did I get involved in this?" Clara said, eating a piece of bread as Daniil and Artemy craned their heads over the motionless Vlad Jr.

"Böos Vlad has many ways to make things happen." Artemy replied as he palpated Vlad Jr.'s neck for signs of distension. "For the best that you came here early before he resorted to different methods to getting what he wants."

"Hm." Daniil investigated the strange fluid that had pooled from the body's mouth. "So far it seems like we can rule out more direct methods of death. No knife wounds apparent nor bruising. Motive seems apparent already."

"Oh, and what's that, oynon?" Artemy said.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm hardly the most acquainted with this town, but a power play is at hand here." Said Daniil. "On the eve of an event held by the local baron of the economy, his son dies under mysterious circumstances. It's all too fitting that someone looking to challenge Olgimsky's power would do so on such a day."

"It could be. Just as well at how obvious it'd be, a more cunning mind would avoid it. Murder is difficult as is, and those seeking to go after an Olgimsky had better be prepared for the worst." Artemy replied.

Daniil thought for a moment before speaking again. "And what sort of angle are you implying, Vorakh?"

"The look's on your face. 'Kains' is what you're thinking. I'm telling you it's more than likely not them. They have different methods than this."

Meanwhile Clara had taken Vlad Jr.'s hand in her own. And slapped him with it. Vlad Sr may have forced her into this murder investigation, but she still managed to find her own entertainment.

And so, Vlad the Younger was found dead on the dinner table by Daniil Dankovsky and Böos Vlad. No signs of violence were found.

Phase 2: what's the next step on? Should they check the alibis of the guests? Investigate the room? Or squabble over who is leading the investigation?

I'm the same person as before. Want to say that when Artemy says that it's not the Kains, it can still totally be the Kains. Not like anyone needs my permission, but I felt like throwing that out there just in case! (´•ω•`๑)
